The name of our company has always been linked to the agricultural mechanization sector, a sector that, like many others, is evolving rapidly, requiring ever greater professionalism, seriousness and quality of service. Being there since 1971 is the most convincing testimony that these characteristics and the close relationship with the customer always bring good results in any work environment.
Founded as an individual artisan business by Giovanni Manferdini in 1971, our company has progressively grown from a purely agricultural machinery repair business to a real dealership for important national and foreign brands.
Thus, expanding the areas of use and the activities of competence in 2001, today's MANFERDINI s.r.l. and in the same year a restructuring of the products and brands handled begins, in order to always follow and satisfy the needs of our customers in the best possible way.
In July 2003 we obtained the concession of an important and historic Italian brand of tractors. The brand in question is LANDINI, of which we are still exclusive dealers for Bologna and the province. The vastness of the range and the right quality / price ratio of these tractors with a strong agricultural tradition have allowed us to achieve excellent sales results and permanently strengthen our presence on the market.
Given the excellent results obtained and the mutual relationship of trust and collaboration between our company and the ArgoTractors s.p.a. to which LANDINI belongs, since 2006 we have also been dealers of the McCORMICK and VALPADANA brands, two other brands of undoubted value. As a side dish to such important names, it is also necessary to have a wide range of equipment to offer and for this reason in recent years we have worked to rationalize the brands handled by focusing only on quality. BCS is in fact another brand of absolute quality and importance that we have already started marketing since 2004.
Today we can affirm that we have reached commercial agreements with leading producers in the market and that these agreements allow us to face the most difficult challenges on the fields of every company every day, from the private to the contractor.
By establishing ourselves more and more, over time we have come to serve very important companies and for this reason we have tried to make further agreements with equipment manufacturers at the level of the quality required by the market. This has led over the last few years our company to be a distributor of respectable brands which together with those already represented for years now allow us to be a complete and reference company in the our sector. Firmly believing in after-sales, in recent years, resources have been continuously invested in this regard, training new staff, computerizing the company management, opening a new spare parts warehouse, adding a new equipped van, and finally, at the end of 2016, purchasing a new power test bench to test tractors up to 700 hp.
A lot of determination and desire to grow by offering an increasingly attentive service has also led a leading brand such as Caterpillar and CGT Edilizia to entrust us with the authorized assistance of their machines since 2018. A further important recognition for our company and a profound source of pride.
Reason for further pride was, in October 2018, to be among the first six in Italy to obtain from Unacma the certification of their workshop and to become part of the Unacma Roc network, Officine Certified Network. Certification that requires particular characteristics of the Service and subject to strict checks. The Roc workshops will be able to offer a high service to certain standards and carry out the revisions and adjustments in accordance with the regulations established by the competent Ministry.
We believe in what we do and we invest, always and constantly. For this reason, since April 2018 we have been operating in our new headquarters, an important investment and a sign of a strong desire to always be at the forefront in providing support to our customers that can stand out for quality and professionalism. Today we work on an area of 11000 square meters, of which 2000 square meters are covered, where those who turn to us find all the services in a modern and functional structure. The Service part, to which the greatest attention has been paid, has a completely new and equipped workshop, as well as a 10 Ton overhead crane, with all the most modern tools and solutions. The spare parts warehouse, which is spread over two floors, has been doubled. A large showroom and the office building complete the picture. The photovoltaic panels and the water recovery and purification system, combined with intelligent heating and lighting units, make our dealership zero impact for the environment that surrounds it, the agriculture we care so much about and to which we owe the same respect.
All this continues and will continue for us not to be a point of arrival but leads us to face the challenges that the future holds for us with even more enthusiasm, awareness and determination. Offering good brands of products is of little use without excellent assistance and original spare parts. For this reason, as from the first day of activity of that distant 1971, the main prerogative of our company is the satisfaction of the final customer, through a qualified and timely service. Selling is easy, assisting the customer is the ability of a few, but these few will last over time.
